Chemical Peel

A chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers. The skin that grows back is smoother. Chemical peels can be used to treat wrinkles, discoloured skin, and superficial scars. With a light or medium peel, subsequent sessions may be required to achieve optimal results. Deeper chemical peels offer more-dramatic results with longer recovery times.

• Light chemical peels remove the outer layer of the skin called the epidermis. It’s used to treat wrinkles, acne, uneven skin tone and dryness. Sessions can be done every 2-5 weeks. 
• Medium chemical peels remove skin cells from the epidermis and from portions of the upper part of your middle layer of skin called the dermis. This peel is used to create wrinkles, acne scars and uneven skin tone. Repeated sessions may be required to achieve and maintain desired results.
• Deep chemical peels remove skin cells deeper. This may be recommended to treat deeper wrinkles, scars or precancerous growths. No repeated sessions are required to achieve therapeutic effect.
